Beth Or Spotlight

Beth Or Spotlight is the congregation's digital e-newsmagazine which is published 6 times/year and features informative articles from our clergy, educators, board president, lay leaders and auxiliaries, along with upcoming events, b’nai mitzvah projects and other synagogue news. Each issue is emailed to our 1,600+ person email list, with a consistently high open rate. Click the photo below to view our current issue and scroll down to view recent and archived issues.

Please submit news articles and event details to Judy Trias and Ellen Wichterman using the submission guidelines below. If you are interested in advertising, use the button on this page for details and to download a contract form.

Submission Guidelines:

Articles:

• Maximum word count = 640. If you would like to include photo(s) or images to go with your article, please reduce word count to 350 - 450.
• Please give your article a title.
• Photos to go with article - please send as an attachment with your article, not embedded within the article. High resolution (or actual image size if using a photo from your cell phone) necessary for print publication.

B'nai Mitzvah Projects:

• Submit your article and high resolution headshot photo directly to Barbara Murtha.
• Please limit text to one or two paragraphs.
• Maximum word count = 135

Submission Deadlines:

As we have moved to digital issues in order to provide more timely information, all articles, photos, event details and other content are due the 10th of the month prior to the issue publication date:

• Jan/Feb issue - December 10
• Mar/Apr issue - February 10
• May/Jun issue - April 10
• Jul/Aug issue - June 10
• Sep/Oct issue - August 10
• Nov/Dec issue - October 10
