Please join us for a special night of learning and discussion on this important, timely topic. Beit Sefer Cafe is free for all Beth Or members; a donation is appreciated from non-members who would like to attend.

About our Presenters:
Jonathan A. Segal, Partner & Managing Principal, Duane Morris Institute
Jonathan A. Segal is a partner at Duane Morris LLP in the Employment, Labor, Benefits and Immigration Practice Group. He is also the managing principal of the Duane Morris Institute. The Duane Morris Institute provides training for human resource professionals, in-house counsel, benefits administrators and managers at Duane Morris, at client sites and by way of webinar on myriad employment, labor, benefits and immigration matters.
Previously a litigator, Jonathan’s practice now focuses almost entirely on helping employers meet their business objectives or missions by minimizing legal risk, maximizing compliance and focusing on relationship with business objectives or mission and legal requirements or restrictions
Stewart M. Wiener, Senior Counsel, Brandeis Center
With over 25 years of experience as a trusted legal advisor, Stewart Wiener brings a diversified set of skills to the fight against anti-Semitism. Before joining the Brandeis Center, he protected intellectual property rights and negotiated agreements as in-house counsel to several Fortune 500 technology companies, and in private practice at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Stewart served on a federal advisory committee of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, and was president of the Benjamin Franklin American Inn of Court. He clerked for U.S. District Judge William H. Yohn. He earned his B.S.E. in computer science from Princeton, and graduated first in his class with a J.D., summa cum laude, from Temple University School of Law.
Robert (Robbie) Newman, J.D. Candidate at Thomas R. Kline School of Law
Robbie Newman is a long-time Beth Or congregant, currently attending Law School at Drexel University. Robbie was recently recognized with the "U.S. Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson Award for the Pursuit of Justice" for his active work against antisemitism, including on campus, since October 7, 2023.
