It’s that time of year again when we host families from The Interfaith Housing/Family Promise in Ambler. We are excited to continue this very important work!

Because of the ongoing climate after October 7 of last year, we have made the decision to house the families in Ambler at the Ambler Church of the Bretheren rather than at Beth Or. 

 Our volunteer opportunities have also changed in 2025. We encourage you to look at our Care Calendar (Security Code: 1111; advance calendar to February) for open slots to be a greeter/host or to deliver dinner. WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF DRIVERS every morning and evening to transport the families in Ambler. 

Additionally we need approximately thirty Beth Or  families to contribute a $25 dollar Walmart gift card. The families will be shopping for their own food twice a month and these cards will be provided to help fill in the gaps from the SNAP cards they already have. 

Cards can be dropped off at the Beth Or office during business yours to be collected or you can Venmo Elisabeth Hess and a card will be purchased on your behalf. Venmo link is: https://venmo.com/u/Elisabethhess
