Machar (11-12)

Grades 11-12

Machar means tomorrow and we are helping to prepare our students for the next phase of their Jewish journey. The goal of the program is to prepare students for life afer high school with Jewish literacy, confidence and the ability to teach in a religious school environment - if they choose to do so.

This program will meet at Congregation Beth Or on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. There will be two tracks. One track will be for students interested in continuing their Jewish education at Beth Or. The second track will be for students interested in continuing their Jewish education and receiving training to become Religious School teachers, Machar Madrichim. Students in the second track will participate in student teaching in the religious school classes on Sunday mornings from 9 am to 1 pm.

The cost of this program is $725 for the year. At the end of 12th grade, students will be participate in a graduation ceremony.
