 Aaron Nielsenshultz 

Director of Religious School

 

Aaron Nielsenshultz is a life-long educator with experience in all age ranges, from early primary through adult learning. Throughout his career, Aaron has fostered a desire to make the learning experience better and more meaningful for students, no matter the setting. His love of education and his passion for Jewish knowledge came together more than ten years ago when Aaron moved from working in higher education to working in the world of Jewish education, and he could not be happier doing what he calls the best work of his life. He is always eager to take questions and receive feedback.

Dale Laing

Director of Early Childhood Education 

 


Dale Laing is thrilled to be a part of the Zipporah S. Abramson Center Early Childhood Education at Congregation Beth Or. After having her two children, Dale came to work for the school at Beth Or in 2005. She enjoyed her involvement so much that she wanted to continue her work at a different level. She enjoys working with teachers, parents & children. Dale believes that a Jewish early childhood education is so valuable to young children, molding them into Jewish learners.Dale has been a member of Beth Or since 1990 and worked in the religious school teaching various grades since 1996. Watching her students grow up in the community brings her joy. She has taught middle and high school students in private school since graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. Dale also works for the University of Pennsylvania as an instructor in the Penn Literacy Network.Dale may be contacted at the Temple or via e-mail at [email protected].





 


Suzanne Diamond

Early  Childhood Center Assistant Director/Business Manager

Suzanne Diamond manages our teachers and monitors the finances at the Center for Early Childhood Education. She has held this position since 2007. This position is very enriching for Suzanne, impacting the smallest members of Beth Or's community is extremely rewarding. When not working in her office, Suzanne can be found sneaking hugs and kisses from the children.  Suzanne has a bachelors Degree in Accounting and a masters Degree in Management from Pennsylvania State University.

Suzanne and her family have been members of Beth Or since 1997. She and her husband Mitch have three children - Kayla, Hannah, & Matthew. She has had the privilege of watching her children grow through the Early Childhood Center, the religious school, through the B'nai Mitzvah process and now as Kayla starts her next chapter as a college student. 




 

 


Sharon Carlin

Education Center Administrative Coordinator

 

Sharon Carlin needs no introduction, particularly if you are a family with young children in our congregation. She has worked in our Early Childhood Center as the Administrative Assistant for the last 10 years. She now serves as Education Center Administrative Coordinator for both our early childhood center and religious school programs. Sharon’s bright personality and “just do it” mindset are invaluable in the education center’s vision of creating an organization that is seen as efficient, organized, friendly and congregant oriented. In her role, Sharon coordinates all of the administrative aspects of Beth Or’s Education Center   including the Early Childhood Center and our K-12 Jewish Education programs.
