Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia For more than 110 years, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia has been supporting and promoting the strength of the Jewish community in Greater Philadelphia, in Israel, and around the world. Through Federation, Jewish people of every age, from every corner of the region - regardless of synagogue or other religious affiliations - can pool resources, energy and commitment to ensure that no community member is in need. Jewish Family & Children's Services (JFCS) With a rich tradition of almost 160 years, Jewish Family and Children's Service of Greater Philadelphia offers a diverse array of services to help children, adults, seniors, and families cope with challenges that arise throughout the lifecycle. JFCS' staff of caring and dedicated fully licensed clinical social workers is committed to providing quality services, compassionate support, and solutions that work.

 


  

Gratz College Gratz College has been a pioneer in higher education and Jewish education since it opened its doors in 1895. Gratz is the oldest pluralistic college for Jewish studies in North America. It also is the oldest independent college for Jewish studies. In addition, Gratz holds the distinction of being the first institution of advanced Jewish learning to accept women on par with men.


 

 

The National Museum of American Jewish History The National Museum of American Jewish History, located on historic Independence Mall in Philadelphia, brings to life the 360-year history of Jews in America. Tracing the stories of how Jewish immigrants became Jewish Americans, the Museum invites visitors of all backgrounds to share their own stories and reflect on how their histories and identities shape and are shaped by the American experience. An open door for all, NMAJH honors the past and contributes to a better future by sharing the power of imagination and ideas, culture and community, leadership and service, in ways that turn inspiration into action.
